My name is Thomas and am the father of Måns 17 years and am married with Bodil.

It took quite a time before Bodil got pregnant. And when she finally was carrying our lives were totally filled with the process.

While inside Bodils tummy Måns was very lively. He was jumping and shaking around making Bodil trembe of the effort. As soon as we listened to TV or loud music he started.

We often wondered what he was doing there inside, something that gave us and our friends many laughter. The name Pepper the Busy Baby was given to him by Bodils workmates who also were astonished of his livelyness.

The idea of making a book about it came up when I was laying in my bed having the flu. After his birth Måns comtinued to be lively. He could not be still for a second. And the stories and persons in the different books about Pepper are almost completely taken from our ordinary weekday life.

It has been liberating to do these books and share the joy of expectations and great happiness of waiting and then having a little baby at home.
